By using a patient's genetic data, artificial intelligence (AI) and digital health solutions provide customised treatment options for more effective recovery. Many emerging technologies, along with AI, also help predict the likelihood of a drug making it to the market earlier in the drug development process.In addition to making the drug development process faster and more affordable using AI, biotech start-ups are actively endeavouring to bridge the gap between academia and the industry. These start-ups are establishing partnerships with various universities across Europe, helping them validate the results of their research and ensuring that these results can be reproduced and applied to real treatments.
