Between 1910 and 1940 there were six to seven million farms in the United States, and today that number is just over two million. While farms were steadily disappearing, the U.S. population went from 132 million in 1940 to more than 300 million today! How is it that we are still able to easily put food on our table or milk in our refrigerator? Technology. It's not the only reason, but it is a big part of how farmers and ranchers are feeding our country and the world.
